Three layers of information
We separate what the driver directly knows, what a statement or document displays, and what still requires confirmation. A possible explanation is labeled as a possibility, not a finding.
- Known: trip date, route remembered, vehicle used, document received.
- Displayed: facility label, posting date, class, amount, or entry type.
- Unresolved: why the record differs and what the responsible operator can confirm.
Fictional examples
Sample statements and case notes use invented details. They are included to demonstrate a review method and are not evidence of current fees, schedules, rules, or operator practices.
Tool design
Interactive worksheets avoid account authentication and payment processing. Calculations and summaries run in the browser and are framed as preparation aids rather than decisions.
